Privacy policy

Effective and last materially updated: September 3, 2026

Plain-language summary

The questionnaires do not require an account. Their answer, progress, and result objects are calculated in the browser and saved to browser storage. The questionnaire code does not intentionally send those objects to a TakePersonalityTest.com results database.

This is not the same as saying the entire site is anonymous or tracker-free. Hosting, analytics, advertising, and contact delivery can process technical request data. Do not enter sensitive medical, employment, password, or financial information in a questionnaire or contact message.

Browser-saved questionnaire data

Local storage is not an encrypted vault. Anyone with access to your device or browser profile may be able to inspect it. Saved data remains until you delete it, clear this site's data, use a private session that discards it, or the browser removes it.

If local storage is blocked or full, the site may keep the current result only in page memory so you can export it. That temporary copy can disappear after a reload or after the tab closes.

Delete local assessment data

This removes only the five questionnaires' saved progress and results. It does not clear unrelated browser data.

Services currently referenced by the application

Google AdSense

The application loads Google's advertising script after the page becomes interactive. Google may process cookies or similar identifiers, IP address, device data, page context, and ad interactions according to region, account configuration, consent settings, and Google policy.

Umami analytics endpoints

The application loads two analytics scripts from umami.tsrenjian.com and u.tsrenjian.com after the page load has completed and the browser is idle. They may receive the requested page, referrer, user agent, IP-derived information, and other technical request data. Additional questionnaire funnel events are fail-closed until an external consent integration records analytics permission. Their allowlist is limited to questionnaire ID, scoring version, progress milestone, export/share method, or content slug. Raw answers, option IDs, result labels, session IDs, durations, and contact text are rejected.

Resend email delivery

When the contact API is configured and you submit the form, the name, reply-to address, category, subject, and message are sent to Resend for delivery to [email protected]. The site does not show success unless the provider accepts the request.

Hosting, CDN and account-side services

The source reviewed for this policy does not identify the production hosting provider or prove whether Cloudflare Insights or Google Funding Choices is enabled outside the repository. Their production status is therefore unknown until verified from live network requests and publisher settings.

The application source currently loads AdSense and the two base analytics scripts without its own regional consent platform. The custom questionnaire event bridge defaults to denied, honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track, and sends nothing until a production consent tool records explicit analytics permission. That bridge is not itself a CMP. Google account-side consent tooling may behave differently by region, but it cannot be confirmed from this repository. Before each production release, the operator must verify live requests, cookie creation, regional consent behavior, and the actual publisher configuration.

Contact messages and retention

Contact data is used to deliver and respond to the request, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot delivery. The API rate limiter uses a short hash derived from the network address and does not log the raw address in application messages.

No automatic mailbox retention enforcement is implemented in this repository. A delivered message may remain with the email provider and support mailbox until an operator deletes it. You may email [email protected] to request deletion where applicable.

Security and requests

The production site is intended to use HTTPS, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Browser-local questionnaire data cannot be retrieved or corrected by the site operator because it is not held in a results account.

Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning information held by the site or its providers. Send a request to the support address with only the information needed to locate the relevant contact record.
